BEARS OF SHEFFIELD

The Bears of Sheffield is a public arts exhibition which unites the city whilst celebrating everything that is wonderful about Sheffield and its surrounding areas. The Bears have been brought to life by artists of all ages, both professional and amateur, and made a dramatic entrance in July 2021. At the end of the summer each bear will be auctioned off, raising much needed funds for a new cancer and leukaemia Ward at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The inspiration for the bears came from the well known Sheffield bear in the Botanical Gardens, and they were made by Simpson Ltd in Attercliffe who have ensured the bears are all Sheffield born and bred.
